Eleventh Birthday Party...A Jumping Success!!!

All of the wonderful friends at your party about to head into Cosmic Jump!

The signs at your school!

So cool!

Well, your birthday party went off as planned! Your friends arrived at the house between 5:45 and 6:00 pm. Everyone played outside on the trampoline, the swing set, and the makeshift basketball court. Everyone was having such a good time that we barely had time to eat pizza and cake, and we certainly didn't have enough time to open gifts. But that was ok, everyone had a blast! We loaded into 4 vehicles. Luckily, Ms. Mindy brought her suburban, your Aunt Kiki showed up in her suburban, and dad and I took our vehicles. Some how Kiki ended up with all the boys except for Griffin and Andrew who went with dad. That must have been one stinky car since it was full of boys that had been running around outside and sweating! We on the other hand had a car full of girls. We arrived at Cosmic Jump right on time, and you guys were able to jump for an hour an a half. It was teen night so you enjoyed jumping with no lights and a DJ. How cool was that??? I think everyone had a fabulous time. You are blessed with a great support system of friends from school and cheer. John John and the Motens came back over to the house, and we stayed up talking until 1:30 am with them. Needless to say, we were all exhausted. The next day you enjoyed a birthday lunch at WiIllies with the family. I am pretty sure this is the first birthday party Jax has ever gone to. We need to make sure they put that in his baby book! As usual, you were all smiles. You truly enjoy just hanging out with family and friends. I am so glad you understand about the important things in life. I look forward to all the events that await you this year. Up next...VOLLEYBALL! :)
I love you with all my heart!

MS. T "My Birthday Wishes for You"!

Eleven is a very special number. In many people's eyes it is considered very lucky. You are one lucky girl and have been blessed in so many ways. You have so much to be proud of in your life. As you begin your journey as an eleven year old, these are my wishes for you. I wish that you never lose your innocence. Being young and care free is how you should live your life. If not, worrying may keep you from reaching your goals. Don't let life intimidate you. Take each day one day at a time. Enjoy the now without losing sight of what lies ahead for you. Never lose your infectious laugh and smile. It reminds me so much of your Mamoo. It will brighten anyone's day that comes into contact with you. Continue to cherish your friendships. Friends are what make life worth living. Besides your family, who else would you want to experience your triumphs and tribulations with. Friends are the ones that will run beside you in your victories, and pick you up when you stumble or fall. Always remember how important it is to be surrounded by your family. Family is the one constant in your life. They will always be your biggest supporters and loudest fans. Today, and every day, your dad and I are extremely proud of you. How did we get so lucky to be chosen as your parents? Happy Birthday, forever my Tu Tu girl!

I love you!

Way too long away!

OK, sweet girl, so I have spent way too much time away from writing to you. So much has happened since I last wrote, and I was feeling a little overwhelmed trying to figure out how I was ever going to catch up. This made me push writing further and further away. I decided I wasn't going to let that keep me away. I need to start getting back into chronicling the big events in your life so I will start again today. First of all, I am so proud of you! This is a big year for you. You are in 5th grade and about to graduate to middle school. I have to say, this is a bit scary for me because I cannot believe that my baby girl is growing up so fast. Second, you tried cheerleading for the first time this year and absolutely loved it! You were a part of the Redskins squad. The football team and cheer team is made up of some incredible boys and girls. You are so lucky to have such amazing friends. You did quite well and even made the All Star squad! I was not surprised, as you have always been an All Star in my eyes! You will celebrate your 11th birthday this Friday. Where does the time go??? It will also be 6 years since we said goodbye to Mamoo. I know that she is so proud of you, and that her smile from heaven for you kids lights our sky each day. As you turn 11 and are about to begin a new journey in middle school I have some wishes for you. My first wish for you is that you make lasting friendships. Do not ever be afraid to friend someone who is different than you. Sometimes they make the best friends. Always be kind to others, but don't let them mistake your kindness for weakness. You have to always stand up for yourself. I wish for you to be the best leader you can be. Someone has to take the first step or we would all be standing still. Do what is right, even when no one else is watching, and you will live a fulfilling and happy life.  My 3rd wish for you is to live your life as if tomorrow may not exist. Don't ever be afraid to take chances, don't go to bed sad, mad, or upset. It wastes too much of your positive energy away. Tomorrow will always be a better day.  Take risks and try new adventures. Don't put off until tomorrow things that you want to do today. You are an incredible girl! I am happy to call you my daughter. Always remember theses 3 things: you are smart, you are special, you are IMPORTANT!!!

I love you with all my heart, Mom
